Meet the Team
Dr. Fouzi Hameed, MD
“Wellness is the confluence of the mind, body and soul ”

Dr Hameed was born in Sri Lanka and grew up in Abu Dhabi, UAE where he completed his high school. He graduated Summa cum Laude from medical school in Minsk, Belarus in 2003. He then worked in Sri Lanka and England for 4 years. He moved to the USA in 2008 and completed his Internal Medicine Residency in York, PA in 2011. He worked as a Hospitalist in Wisconsin till 2013 and then became Chief Medical Officer for Dailycare Solutions, a company based in Appleton, Wisconsin providing short/long term coverage of physician to hospitals that are short on staff. He is still on the board of this company but has shifted his focus to wellness medicine. His focus in wellness medicine includes medical weight loss (using semaglutide, tirzepatide etc.) in combination with MD-supervised interval visits), patient-centered well visits, cryotherapy, meditation and aesthetics.
David B. Smith, R.Ph
Graduated from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy & Science with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Diverse background as a Registered Pharmacist, Clinical Research Coordinator, President of Pharmacy Management and Operations, Medical and Safety Equipment Sales, Educational Training and Lecturing on various disease states, and Independent Managed Care Consultant for Pharmaceutical companies with more than 30 years of professional experience.
Experience includes: Clinical Coordinator conducting over 23 clinical research trials for several large Pharmaceutical companies, implemented Educational Training Programs on Diabetes, Asthma, and Smoking Cessation, formulated and presented numerous lectures on key managed care issues for Pharmaceutical companies(Glaxo, Merck, Novartis, Ortho-McNeil, AstraZeneca, Pfizer), created and developed managed care training sessions for pharmaceutical representatives, developed sales, marketing and in-store promotion strategies for prosperous business expansion in 5-store retail Pharmacy chain and Medical/Safety equipment company.
Dr. Dylan Deatrich
Dr. Dylan Deatrich is originally from Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, and attended both college and medical school in Pennsylvania, graduating from Penn State College of Medicine in June of 2004. Specializing in family medicine, he has a passion for seeing people achieve an overall better sense of wellness in their lives. When not working, he and his wife are wrangling five children between the ages of 2 and 16. He is excited to work with Energi Wellness and looks forward to growing with the company!
